You can take some hard drives out of there case and re-use them in the computer, but the chances are you wont have a compatible one. Its very simple to install a new hard drive, and load the OS on. If you need any help I can guide you through it on SKYPE or over the phone. Don't pay more that £50 for a new hard drive though and make sure it compatible with your bios / motherboard settings.
