the adaptors definitely on, tried resetting it, and the device manager says its working but still says it cant communicate with primary dns server (89.101.160.5). would re-installing the drivers help?

HI, I'm on a wireless network at home which works for the other laptop and pc here but not mine. we've recently switched networks and my one worked up until this point...the others connected automatically. Ive tried the security key, its not that, it says the connection is excellent strength but wont connect to IE, Chrome or Firefox. Also changed the TCP/IP4 settings to the recomended 8.8.8.8 / 8.8.4.4 settings and nothing. Unselected TCP/ip6 and nothing. ITs running on Vista and is a dell vostro if it helps?
