should that fix my problem then,,,if it dont i will be back on in a few hours to tell you (if not sooner)

i keep having a problem with my windows internet explorer,,it randomly stops working its not on any certion site it will just go white and say at top of screen (not responding) then i will get a box i middle of screen saying it has stoped working and will restart, then the screen will vanish and a new screen will pop up with my home page,,and i wanna know if there is a reason it keeps doing this or if there is a way to stop it

i take it no-one can help me then

i pressed the f8 and all i get is the blank screen,, if its hardware problem how do you fix

im having a lot of problems with m laptop, i got a mate to check it over cause it kept crashing, ever since then it wont even start up it gets 3 secs into loading up and just stops what it was doing a sticks to a black screen, i know this is a very short discrpetion of whats happeneing but i cant really say much more apart from that, anyone got a clue where to start with fixing it?

looked on the microsoft site and it looks very complecated and i think ill leave it to someone who knows what they are doing i think it might be simply to you people in the know but i dont know jack-shit so thank you very much AGAIN for all that have been trying to solve my problem, i will be coming here again if i have any future probs cheers dan

ok seems as my laptop has gone wrong again, ive done everything it says above, but now when i start up my laptop a blue screen comes up saying "a problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer" and under that it says UNMOUNTABLE_BOOT_VOLUME. it says something about newly installed hardware or software but ive not installed anything for ages, what the hell is going wrong

i have tried connecting to other computers but it wont even turn my wireless on so i cant connect to anything,

that seems to have fixed it for now, as of tomorrow back to trying to get my internet connection working again cheers for now

its all of a year old at most 2, i think its a packard bell EASYNOTE R4650

did the battery test and its still coming up boot device, so im seriosly stuck now

the hard disk selection just flicks the screen and goes back the same screen with the 4 selections, ill try the battery option and come back in an hours time cheers

no it was bought from currys about a year ago, and i dont know what the most recent programme installed is,
