They are .mov files and I need to open them with Avid Studios.

Hi there, I'm hoping someone can shed some light on this for me... I've got a short film I've got to make for Saturday, and half the footage captured was on someone else's video camera and they put it onto their Mac and then onto a USB for me. Once I copied them from the USB to my PC, whenever I open it I can't see the video but I can here it. Any ideas people? I'd really appreciate some help. If there are any details you think might help you figure out the problem, let me know and I'll try and get you more info on the files etc. Thanks!
