  1. Thanks for the tip Armageddon, I may just give those a try. I dont fancy codec hunting !!!
  2. Hi Nev, Thanks for the post. I had actually thought of Ubuntu. I had a free no install disc from a magazine recently and had a look at it. I have to admit I did like it, seems very easy to use and did all that I wanted it to do on the surface. I think I have probably been Windows brain washed to an degree but should I get that PC then I would at least look into installing Linux on it.
  3. Thanks KenB, http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/270959037938?item=270959037938#ht_3356wt_1185 Thanks for the link as well. I had never heard of them till I saw this one. Fluke
  4. Thanks for the reply. The deal is on for a little while yet so I have some thinking time. I am happy to put an operating system on it if the machine is a good one. I wont be playing games on it, just use it as a general media pc.
  5. Hello everyone, Yes another newbie but I am told this is the place to come for help and advice. I have an old desktop PC connected to my TV. I use it for movies and web surfing. Today I came across a Zoostorm PC on ebay being sold by ebuyer. I dont know if I am allowed to post links to it. It seems pretty powerful and has the following spec Processor is an AMD Triple Core A6 3500 2.1GHz with 3MB Cache Memory is 8GB DDR3 1333MHz Graphics are AMD Radeon 6530D Up to 4GB Memory. It has no operating system and costs £200. As its a long time since I bought a computer, does this sound ok?? never heard of Zoostorm so any advice would be greatly appreciated. Fluke32
