Audio Recorder continued Thanks Nev for your attempts to help. The URL you gave me doesn't really help me as I am not highly computer literate. Yes, it's a Dell Dimension 3100 desktop. The webcam plugs into the USB port - its got sort of FC CE logos on it, designed by Naver, NHN Corp. Does have a MIC. It's odd that the recorder used to work for Skype, but suddenly quit working. I'm focused on using Audacity at present, a recording programme. But I might just buy an audio recorder :(. Best, Kerry

Windows XP 2002 - I have a Sigma Tel Audio Recorder. It used to work for Skype, but suddenly stopped working. I am not aware of having changed any of the settings at that time. I do not know whether my computer (Dell Dimension DV051) has a built-in microphone, or whether my webcam has a built-in microphone. I need the audio recorder for both Skype and Audacity (free sound recording software), and cannot seem to get it to work on either one. However, I know the speakers/playback are OK because my I-Tunes is working fine. Everything seems to be set on the default options at present. Please help, thank you. Kerry
