[Solved] HP Laptop doesn't recognise my CD/DVD drive

Still Excellent advice I have an HP that was working fine but when I moved to a more powerful laptop and cleaned this one up the drive quit working. Likely my own doing but . . . . . Anyway I followed your regedit instructions and it is back to good health. My wife thanks you as she is about to get it as a massive upgrade from her current laptop. Great advice and spot on. -Barry
