  1. many apologies, after closer inspection i had neglected to connect one of the power cables, it appears to be working now, sorry again, and cheers anyway :-)
  2. yeah, ive still got the old card and no it didnt used to beep when booting before, will put it back in after the match hehe
  3. P.S there are no beeps when booting

I recently purchased an nvidia gtx 560 gfx card for my pc, i put it in the pci slot, screwed it in attached wires then connected it to my monitor, what it is the monitor goes into sleep mode with the msg "no signal", it boots cos i can hear the windows tune but no screen, pls help AMD Athlon quad core 8 gig ddr3 ram 650 watt cpu thats all the spec i can recall at the moment, im on my laptop Cheers
  5. well, i did buy a new psu first but that didnt work, next on the list was mobo, and thought if im updating that may aswell get a new cpu, the mobo only took DDR3 and me old one was DDR2, can you see my logic? games play a lot better now :-D
  6. sorry for the delay, ive been busy with uni work....well, long story short bought new psu, mobo, ram and cpu...pc works brilliantly lol, cheers for your help :-)

Hi, what it is i had to reinstall windows 7 on my system and decided to leaver the pc on overnight while it was updating, now the PC doesnot boot, all the lights come on, thr psu fan comes on, the gfx card fan comes on and the heatsink fan comes on but no beeps and no display on the monitor. I have checked the RAM by only having one stick in at a time, changed the gfx card with no effect, i think i can hear the HDD coming on but cant be sure, i`ve checked the CPU and cant see any burnt pins, if anyone can help i`d appreciate it. Id put my specs down but cant recall all of them all i know is.... AMD Athlon Duel core processor 3.8mgz Nvidia Geforce GT 240 4 gig ram
