Hi, sorrry and thank you, I decided it probably suited this forum better, I guess I should have also deleted the other. I have tried unplugging all that can be unplugged - printer, router, etc. I have also deactiveated the wireless on the printer - no change there either. The router is a speedport W701V. Thanks for your response, any further help would be much appreciated.

Hi everyone, This is kinda urgent as I only have access to the internet quite briefly and as one can see from the title, the internet at home has given up. Yesterday I installed our Canon MP640 printer with wireless access and this worked no problem. However, I noticed just after printing the first test page, neither myself or my wife could access the internet on our laptops or on my phone, not even with the cable plugged in. Can it be that installing a wireless printer somehow kills the internet? Any help would be appreciated :) David
