Hi, Your picture of the internet options advanced tab shows "Accelerated graphics" at the top of the menu. My tab starts at "Accessibility" only, missing the top line. Why? I'm using Windows XP home edition not Professional, could that make a difference?

Thanks for the replies, I can't find the "Use software rendering" instead of "GPU rendering" under the advanced tab in Explorer 8! Also, can you use Firefox alongside IE8 and does Firefox not contain adverts?

Hi, This may be an odd thing to ask. Is there a fairly straight forward way to disable / eliminate a lot of the rubbish that you have to endure on search engine pages? e.g. adverts? Or is it way too technical? Thanks very much Malcolm
