  1. yes that seems similar but what do you do with the other end? once ive put in the 8 pins, oh and im very sorry my motherboard is Gigabyte GA-EX58-UD3R Intel X58 SLi DDR3 Motherboard sorry for giving you the wrong mobo
  2. and if i bought this how do you install it?
  3. will a 4 pin work because on my motherboard its 8 pins(4x4)on psu have you ever heard of a casebay power supply tester would that check if its faulty
  4. hey mate everything is stable an stays on till i plug in the 4x4 pin in the cpu then it shuts off after a few seconds, but when i leave the 4x4 pins out my gpu goes of its head but goes back to normal when i put the 4x4 back in, so its just a guess but do u think my 4x4 pin on my psu is damaged
  5. well ive got a other problem now. when i take out my 4x4 cpu pins connected to my psu the gpu makes the loud fast speed noises and no display, but when the 4x4 pins are connected the gpu goes to normal speed, but my pc only stays on for 10 seconds
  6. hi guys ive just put my gpu back in after my pc was shutting down every 10 seconds ive sort of fixed that, but now my gpu fan is at the maximum speed by the sound of it an theres no display
  7. ok ken i got the pc on with just the processor fan the on/off switch connector and the 24 way an it seems to be staying on, i took out a 8pin connector from the pc an it seems to keep running now, but i hear no beeps or anything shall i keep out the 8 pin connector an build it together?
  8. should it work with the 24 way psu on its own?
  9. hi ken when i take everything out except the 24 way psu the pc wont start
  10. hi i took my gpu out of my pc to check it because i was gettin driver not responding pop ups, and when ive put it back in my pc comes on for 10 seconds then the power cuts, ive even tried without the graphic card an it still cuts so im confused specs: radeon hd 4870 x2 Gigabyte GA-MA790FXT-UD5P motherboard 4gb DDR 3 core i7 920ghz 600w power supply
