  1. I did a search on the (Start > Computer > D:\ drive) and yes there is all kinds of data on this drive.
  2. In the small box to the left box it says (disk 0 111.79 basic online) and then to the right of that in the two partitions it says ( C: NTFS 8.37 GB Healthy ,Boot ,Crash ,dump ,Primary partittion.) ( D: 103.42GB NTFS Healthy System, Page, File ,Active, Primary partition ) . Thank you for youe help. I hope I can figure this out.
  3. I had to re-install the operating disc (windows vista Home Basic 32-bit) and after re-installing it I keep getting a pop up message saying that my c drive is low on space. Out of 8.36 I only have 135mb left. The only thing I downloaded so far was Adobe 11. I did a disk clean and removed everything and I didn't gain much from that. what can I do to find out why I only have 135mg of space left. I also noticed that my D drive also has alot more space being used up than normal. the only thing that I can think happened is that when I re-installed the operating disk that it did not erase the old data and files from the C & D drive so now I have two copies of the same software on the C and D drive. How can I tell if this is the case and how can I fix this. Should I try re-installing the operating disk again and hope it erases all the data before it re-installs the new data this time. I'm not even sure if this it what happened. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Kevin
