Hello! New member, first time posting! I bought a cheap used laptop and was burned! The DVD drive doesn't work. Since the laptop is not returnable I went out and bought another DVD drive. Same model drive as the original, and it's doing the same thing. First off, when I put a disc in, the little light on the drive blinks for a few seconds and I can hear the drive churning, then it stops. Nothing! DVD drive doesn't show up in Backtrack 5 or Windows Vista. I think it's still hardware related since both drives are doing the same thing. After messing with it for hours one day, I got the drive to load a disc one time! Although, when I clicked on the disc image and it wouldn't open. But it loaded the disc that one time... Any help would be greatly appreciated! Specs: HP Laptop model# DV6700 Now has Backtrack 5 OS Pat
