2. Hi, ive found out two things. I have 4 RAM slots, 2 of which are in use. The slots are coloured (i dont know if this makes any difference or not), and the RAM is placed in the 2 green slots. When i put one of the RAM pieces back in the slots, if i use the left one (see the picture) it beeps at me and wont boot at all. if i use the right hand green one it boots fine, however the screen still goes black. Secondly i had a programmed that was supplied by ATI called AMD Fusion, it is meant to overclock the pc and graphics card automatically so you dont need to mess around with clock speeds yourself etc. I removed it a while ago as i never noticed much difference but it has started coming up with this message when i start my pc. Not sure if this could have any effect. I really appreciate your help on this. Thanks.
3. I'll give that a go now. Yeah gets on to the desktop and you can do everything but just after 5 mins or so the screen goes black and won't turn back on.
4. I've taken the card out and plugged it in through the VGA slot of the back of the pc. It has got the same problem. One thing I have just remembered is that I had to replace my psu last year but I remember it worked fine. I went for a corsair tx750 and was told it was more than enough to run what I have.
5. Thanks. I have just tried doing that and still no luck. I've tried downloading new drivers when I've been able to see what is happening but still nothing. Any other ideas?
6. Hi I have recently booted up my pc having not used it in over a year and now every time I run my pc the screen goes black after a few minutes and I have to restart it to get any picture back on the screen. I'm assuming it could be my graphic card? Need any more info to help find a solution please ask. Thanks. David.
