  1. Hello, I am using DVI to DVI. As my monitor has a HDMI port but my computer does not, I just wondered if I would see better performance by using a cable like this one to connect from DVI to HDMI: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Hdmi-To-Dvi-2m-Gold-Plated-Cable-Lead-for-Hdtv-1080p-/230603926248?pt=UK_Computing_Sound_Vision_Video_Cables_Adapters&hash=item35b110aae8 My monitor is an Iiyama B2776HDS ProLite 27 inch LCD and computer Dell XPS420. I have it set at the correct resolution (1920x1080) I am happy with the monitor as it is; I was just wondering if connecting to HDMI would make it even better. Thanks
  2. My computer has two DVI ports but no HDMI. I have just bought a new monitor which supports DVI and HDMI. I know you can buy cables that will connect from the monitor's HDMI port to the DVI port on the comptuer. Would this improve things at all? Thanks
  3. Recently, I started getting BSODs more and more frequently. Now, when I try to start up, a blue screen flashes and then the computer reboots and goes into startup repair (which does nothing). I have disabled automatic reboot so I can see what the blue screen says, which is: STOP: c000021a {Fatal System Error} The verification of a KnownDLL failed. system process terminated unexpectedly with a status of 0xc0000020 (0x04af3130 0x00000000). The system has been shut down. I have tried pressing F8 and running last successful configuration - no good. I have a Dell XPS420. It is about five years old. It was originally Vista but I upgraded to Windows 7 about five months ago. I do not have the Windows disk. Any ideas? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
