  1. yea I understand now. well thank you :) I will check it out. thanks for everything!
  2. when you said did you mean that an OS and a system are different things? cause later you said what i'm asking is: if I will buy a windows 7 disc, and currently im on 32bit. does it mean that it will upgrade to 64 bit? i think i'm missing something.
  3. hmm. I understand! and i'm sorry to put you in this situation. well, I intend then to format the computer, for I am not sure what is illegal and what is not, and I guess its anyways the time to format. hey I really appreciate all the help you guys Starbuck and Plastic Nev have given me! about what you said, should I look for my somewhere-in-the-house XP disc, or should I buy windows 7? or 8 when it comes out? thank you again
  4. I must cut each log in half because of the forums rules demanding maximum 80000 letters. OTL:
  5. ok I did it, and ran another scan, it didnt found anything, the problem is still happening
  6. ok, so the Malwarebyte found about 6 infections, I didnt clean them yet, didnt wanna do anything without your approval. I also ran a system file check that took about 6 hours or 5 hours to finish, no stops were there.
  7. Ok, it is not dusty at all, but I think I should inform you that I have sent my computer to a "lab" (I don't know what you call it :) ), to get my ex-high temperatures - problem. the temperatures would get to 80 C just like that. and they told me afterwards that 58 - 62 C (kinda) is its natural temperature. and by the way, the problem I told you about did happen alot before I sent my computer for fixing.. I got used to this problem so much I didnt even ask them to check it... so stupid. :) so I think it doesnt have anything to do with temps. and it is also not a complete freeze! I can still open up folders, but not access any program. If I have a chrome page running, I can sometimes continue to surf on the same tab, but not open new tabs. and I can't get to the task manager, and I can't even turn off my computer! only with the reset button. I hear its not healthy for the computer I hope this information helps
  8. right Ok, first of all thank you for helping me :) about the temperatures, normally the CPU's temperature is about 65 - 69 C , the Graphics temperature is normally 60 - 64 C. these are the temperatures that changed when the problem came up. then the CPU's temp dropped to 57 C, and the graphics dropped to 43 C. all the other temp parameters dropped only by a little. oh, and I looked a bit and I think this is what you want to see? Operating System MS Windows XP Professional 32-bit SP3 CPU Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 @ 2.40GHz 66 °C Kentsfield 65nm Technology RAM 4.00 GB Dual-Channel DDR2 @ 333MHz (5-5-5-15) Motherboard Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd. P35-S3 (Socket 775) 49 °C Graphics L1970HR (1280x960@60Hz) 1024MB AMD Radeon HD 6800 Series (ATI AIB) 60 °C Hard Drives 233GB Western Digital WDC WD2500AVJS-63TBA0 (SATA) 38 °C Optical Drives ATAPI iHAS122 XEPM 9I3CDMRWD2FO SCSI CdRom Device Audio AMD High Definition Audio Device I hope thats what you needed. (and btw sorry for bad english if there is any)
  9. After a while on, my computer just stops letting me open up new stuff like programs, or even new tabs in chrome. I don't know what triggers this. help please?
