Hi, I've upgraded my memory (or at least I am about to) to 2G. This is all my PC can allow (2x1G slots). But now I need a graphics card that I can use for games like CIV5, for example. At the moment my GC is: Radeon X1600 Series (Microsoft Corporation - WDDM) This GC is "legend" and does not play CIV5 or any new PC games well at all. Below is my pc specs. Thanks. Didn't quite know where to post this. I'm new and a beginner with computers. My computer has started to sound noisy with the fan going like crazy. I could be over-clocking or I might have something eating up the memory. Don't know what it is, but it could also be the fact the temperature is warm here at the moment. Just don't know. The fan will just whirl like crazy for a second or two then it goes silent-ish and then whirl again. Sometimes my mouse would stick but only for a few seconds. Sometimes switching between windows is slow but I get there in the end. I have Windows 7 Ultimate. I am not running much memory for windows 7 and I know I need another 1G if truth be told, but it is manageable. Can play Civ3 (vanilla) but not Civ5. Thanks.
