Hi all I have recently purchased a second hand dell dimension 3100. I assume that previous owner reset it back to factory settings as not alot on there and I had to do all the usuall update, but the problem Im having is that the pc is telling me that there are no sound devices installed but in device manager its telling me everything is working ok in the sound department. With this dell the sound card is on the motherboard so I have disabled that one and put in another one and it installed fine but the computer is still telling me that there are no audio devices installed. Ive tryed everything I could find on google but still cant fix the problem. Has anyone had this problem before or come across this. Its really starting to get on my nerves now. PLEASE HELP Thanks Mick
