  1. ah just seen this sorry. yeh i did notice. i was looking at ebay the other day and one seller did have v0 ones. maybe this is the problem. also noticed there are different makes.samsung etc any recommendations. thanks
  2. many thanks for reply. hmm i thought n7004n made no reference either as i had a look on google etc. all they said on the phone was that number and they said it is a 17.3 wide LED. would it be worth buying a new lead and screen as my initial thought it may be the lead from the screen to motherboard as in the past the hinges have completely snapped so it could have done something to the wire. if so could anyone advise me a screen to buy as i want to get one off ebay. thanks again.much appreciated.
  3. Ah great thanks very much. Much appreciated.
  4. Hi guys spoke to dell today about this screen. They have given me a model number to which the screen should be. model number is-n7004n. does this mean i have the wrong screen. there is a picture earlier in the thread. thanks guys.

  14. Hi,Unfortunately still a no go.resolution change didn't do anything at all. could this be a video wire problem? I know when the screen was replaced the hinges were to as the screen had come away from the bottom half, maybe its dislodged the video cable on the graphics card end? could this be a possibility.think imn going to take a look at this properly. thanks again.
