terabyte for Q6600 Hi all , and thanks for the replies. I thought this guy who gave me the discs was not genuine when he said a friend could fit one in my computer for £70. That set the off the alarm bells and I just wondered how easy (or hard) it would be to fit one myself , not knowing anything that technical, hence my questions. I used to be plagued with crashes and blank screens , some of which were hard to break out of, until I read about a three finger escape . Ctrl. Alt. and Delete all pressed together. It worked most times.

Hi, I am new to the forum and although I can use my computer fairly well I am not 'up' on technical jargon. Someone I half-know sujests I upgrade from Vista to Windows 7 ultimate and he has given me two softwear discs and one disc with the Windows 7 on it. My computer is an Advent Quad Core Intel Q6600 but according to this guy it would require a terabyte internal hard drive to install this system. Is this right ?... if so where can I get one and what wording would I have to look for (numbers , lettters, etc.,) and what price would I be looking at ?. Any help would be gratefully appreciated.
