any idea where it is located? cant see it when taking battery out and removing small panel in centre. am totally ignorant about inside of pc. have googled but cant find any info on where the cmos is located...

No, comes up 'Incorrect Password' Does 'diskette' refer to floppy disk? Presume as there is no tray for such that this would need USB input?

HI and thanks Hi and thanks for replying. Not sure if inadvertantly did but not consciouly so. Safe nor any of the other boot options work. accessed F2 and scrolled to boot sequence which lists priority as 1. diskette drive 2. HDD 3. USB Ordering was locked so went to unlock set up. asked for admin password which i just cant remember!

my dell latitude d430 laptop, running on vista business started to slow and be came unresponsive. i tried rebooting but got a windows boot manager screen telling me to inset installation disc and restart pressing 'repair'. lt gave the followiing: File: \windows\System32\Drivers\RapportKELL.sys Status: 0xc0000098 Info: Windows failed to load because a critical system driver is missing or corrupt. Ive gone throughg all the various F12 options for various reboots and none work. Ive run diagnostics and nothing shows. The laptop has no cd or dvd drive to insret a disc which i dont have. what do i do? help.
