  1. Yes I do have an internal speaker and there are no beeps the only cables connected to motherboard are the power cable to psu and the front panel cables ie pwr sw, led-, led+ etc.
  2. When I take out the graphics card and the 4 Ram cards and switch on nothing happens except fans and LEDs come on and you hear the HDD . Attching each card 1 by 1 exact same happens no boot up and no beeps.
  3. No the area of the spark was the I/O shield which is the opposite side to where the PSU is. I will try the options on the 1st link ie powering up with no cards attached and see what happens. I don't have a meter but when I switch on the PSU comes on and the Graphics card and all the LEDs and fans come on as well. Thanks for the reply Neil
  4. Yesterday I spilled a glass of cola and it went over the top of my pc case through the vents as I was playing F1 2012. After about 1 min a spark came from the top left at the back of the pc and my monitor went blank. I disconnected everything then took all the parts out (motherboard, hdd etc) cleaned them with iso alcohol and left them for 24 hrs to dry. Today I put back together (I built the pc myself a year ago) it booted up and got the 'pc didn't not shut down properly' screen and chose to start windows normally option. I got to the login screen then it went blank again. Now it won't boot up at all. Does this mean my motherboard is fried? Or can it be just the CPU? Everything else powers up PSU, all the fans inc the CPU fan and the dvd drives open and shut. I'm running Win 7 ultimate ed 64 bit. Motherboard AMD P29652 AMD Phenom II Quad core 965 AM3 12 gb ram 6700 Radeon Graphics Card. Thanks Neil
