All adapters are fine, we have 2 laptops and both have strong 28-30Mb/s connections
It's a "Broadcom 802.11g Network Adapter". Then there's another below it "IntelĀ® 82562V-2 10/100 Network Connection"
It's about 15-20ft away, no walls. There is a cordless phone there, but I tried the laptops next to the desktop, and upstairs etc but it always comes out around the same speed anywhere in the house.
Today I got 14.09Mb/s on speed test and 14.35Mb/s on speed of me. But the laptop has also increased to 34Mb/s
Yeah it didn't actually say 'guarantee' but it was estimated to get between 40-40Mb/s so I was pretty much guaranteed that haha, and they have gave me that anyway, I'm getting 38Mb/s over cable so I know I can't complain to Sky about anything. It's obviously something on my end but I don't know what.. I'm assuming my pc if the latop's are ok. I wasn't sure if I would have to upgrade my network adapter or something else
And this is what the 10 days is about;
"The first 10 days of your connection we will run a Dynamic Line Management (DLM) test on the line. This is when we will try to find the most stable speed to perform on your connection. "
Thanks
