  1. So, if I get it right, bios would tell me that something is in the pci slot, too. Thanks very much for help! I appreciate it!:)
  2. Ok then. One last question. Do you think, that if the card was all right, bios would still show "Cant find any device" WITHOUT ati drivers installed?
  3. Of course...I have 500W Corsair (1x6pin pci, 1x6+2pin pci). And the bios tells me as the first information right after booting: Using PCI-E 2.0 Cant find any device
  4. Once again - I unninstalled integrated graphics drivers, then shut down. Then switched the VGA cable to the HD5870 and turned on. No signs of signal to the monitor. Even though I heard Win logging in to the desktop. So I switched back the cable to integrated (because what else should I do next) and it said "Cant find any device" and booted normally to windows, without drivers of course (800x600 res.)... Is that a sign of a faulty card? Plus its not in device manager either...
  5. Thats not the problem...i reactivated drivers after booting from integrated graphics plugged in...I got nowhere by booting with my vga cable connected with the new gpu....when I plugged it back to integrated and still got the gpu running in mobo(I mean just fans) - the BIOS at the starting showed: PCI express 2.0 Cant find any device ...and then it boots up normally. It came to my mind to reset the CMOS (removing the battery), complete unninstal of integrated graphics drivers and then plug the cable into the new gpu. Cant be my gpu faulty? I mean BIOS is not detecting it and neither does Devide manager. Thanks for help.
  6. Hi, I had the VGA - cable plugged into the mobo (IntelHD3000), then I installed drivers and stuff, turned off my integrated graphics drivers, plugged in my HD5870, tried to boot and nothing. All the other stuff is going well, I can even hear Skype logging in in Win normally, but nothing than a black screen. When I tried to swith VGA cable back to integrated to mobo, BIOS said "No device" in the PCI slot... HELP!
