Depending on what all is involved in doing this. Is it complicated and if I do something wrong will it damage my computer?
If it's too complicated I could take it in to the computer repair shop.

I'm sorry I didn't answer that question.
A little sign pops up in the bottom right corner after the screen goes blank for a few seconds. It says AMD Display Driver quit responding and has successfully recovered.

The avast and weatherbug have been uninstalled and the windows defender is on.
I did the same with my laptop even though I wasn't having any problems with my keyboard

Someone else told to try changing the TDR Value! I don't know what it is!
I tried looking under device manager but couldn't find where to go to check for updates. Guess it's different on windows 8.1
