  1. Ahh ok cool so the desktop folders are not supposed to display on the second screen unless I drag them across

Thank you for the reply it's a Nvidia I think I have done it now but the desktop icons are not extending to the second screen I got the first one set as the main display and on the second one is just the wallpaper background with the taskbar I thought if the desktop is set to extend these displays that the desktop folder etc would carry over to the second screen I can move the mouse between the two screens and move google chrome over as well as other software Ian

Hi, I have now managed to get two monitors working on one video card that I got with two dvi outputs and using dvi-i to vga adaptors [ATTACH=CONFIG]1852[/ATTACH][ATTACH=CONFIG]1853[/ATTACH]and all is good apart from couple of things, I have set the desktop to extend to both screens but is not doing that, see attached the two images I am using windows 7 ultimate 32 bit Any ideas Thank you Ian
