Iv done a bit of testing and im more than positive its the psu, ill try it with a different one tomorrow and let you know the results.

Soery I forgot to mention its a custom built desktop. I've had the machine for atleast 5 years now and never had this problem before. Also when its eventually up and running theres no problems.

Hey guys im having a bit of trouble starting my pc up. When I press the power button it starts up and then I hear the fan turn and then it goes off. If I let it repeat this cycle a few times it eventually starts up. Any ideas? Also iv noticed my power on butron is sticking q bit, could this also be a cause of the problem?

I installed that but unfortunately still no result =\

Hey guys my problems changed now iv recovered all of my files. Now im just struggling as apparently my wireless adapter isnt recognised by my computer but I cant figure out how to install my driver as the one im tryin to install isnt recognised by my pc.

Hdy guys I reinstalled windows 7 yesterday and iv got 2 major problems as a result (my own fault). Firstly I was stupid enough not to back up my drivers (hurray for no Internet) and secondly I cant see or access any of my old files. This problems bothering me the most as my hard drive is still as full as it was before, but I cant find any of my files in the my documents section. I've tried making hidden files visible but im still getting no luck. Any advice would be greatly appreciated as Im absolute stumped =\.

Haha I can read all the text fine, it just seems on my games its that little bit too small, on word and firefox everythings fine.

Iv tried the reccomended resolution and it is much better to read but still a bit too much, but iv been told im getting a 40 inch tv next month for my birthday so im assuming that will solve the problem. Thanks for all the advice :-)

Ah i havent tried that, i'll give it a whirle tomorrow and post back how it goes :)

Its a technika im not sure of the model number an id say I was roughly 1 meter to 1.5 meters away.

I've already tried that, to be fair the only problems im having now are with text in the games im running an iv looked in the game settings but theres no way I can see tochange them.

I just gave that a whirl but I still got the same result. Iv been on Microsoft Word and I was able to read everything fine. Any other advice?

Iv had to change the text size on firefox and all the icon sizes on my pc, if id just left them at standard I wouldnt be able to read anything.
