  1. Cheers yeah i was thinking more to do with reliability rather than best connection at peak
  2. what is the fastest way to connet a pc to the internet without an ethernet i want a reliable connection. my bedroom upstairs 2 floors from the router downstairs and my mum says she doesnt want an ethernet cable trailing all the way around the house or even for it to be put through the walls. so i was wondering would wi-fi be the best or a powerline adapter, and even have a telephone line put in my room and my own router in here thanks alot for your help
  3. problem sorted i plugged in the power sw connector in upside down, thankyou very much for the help though, was my own stupid fault as always

  6. Could someone please help me pick a HDMI monitor around 24 inch (1920 x 1080p) that is good for gaming? (with a good response time and a higher hz)
  7. yeah cheers man thats a great list, three more quick questions though, changing motherboard to the same as on your list but do you need another component to connect to your wi-fi i know you can get usb one but i would sure if they would be good? also would you say run your pc to your monitor with a hdmi cable or just with a vga providing i'll be gaming on it if you are a gamer yourself Steve would you be able to share some average fps on some games for this build? Thanks alot for the help
  8. also im not bothered about frame rate drops if i would be recording because i dont intend to do so, also a a monitor that is good for around £150 saw this one http://www.scan.co.uk/products/236-asus-vs247h-led-full-hd-hdmi-dvi-vga-1920x1080-300cd-m-50m1-5ms-black but i wasnt sure if this would have enough inputs?
  9. yeah could you post it please if its still around this price, i mean i could spend abit more but itd need to be worth the extra money maybe like up to £450, and yeah could you link me to a good processor that you would recommend instead of the amd also on the graphics card what is the difference between 1GB and 2GB versions? http://www.scan.co.uk/products/1gb-evga-gtx-650-superclocked-28nm-pcie-30-(x16)-5000mhz-gpu-1202mhz-cores-384-dvi-hdm would this be okay for a graphics card? thankyou for taking time to reply replying
  10.
