new to networking, just need some info!

I am currently studying my ccent books to gain my networking qualifications. (which i am doing at home with going to Uni and paying fees) if i pass the ccent or ccna exams, i have no networking experience. Does anybody know if there is a website that lists volunteer positions to help me gain the experience i require? Thanks
