Okay, this is my first thread. I am not a computer whizz but I am perfectly capable of following instructions so do not hold back. I can't give you much information about my machine as I am unable to do anything on it, you will find this out soon, other than it is Windows XP Home Edition.So. My pc was working fine for the last few months and then it my Huawei Dongle stopped working, nothing was happening when I plugged it in, so my idiot brother did some "tinkering" around in Device Manager and uninstalled the USB's for my mouse and keyboard. Now the keyboard and mouse are new and usually worked fine, but they no longer do.So now when I log on I get this pop-up from the new-found Hardware Wizard."IntelĀ® ICH9 Family USB Universal Host Controller - 2934" and another of "USB Mass Storage Device" now the thing is, I can't install this because my mouse does not work.I can run everything on the BIOS Screen fine, my OS Disc is lost...if I need to buy a new disc then say so, so I can run system restore off that, or do I need to do a full re-install or buy a new PC or what.As for my dongle, if anyone has any solutions, the light just flashes green and nothing happens. It's a Huawei E321.Thanks,Raviern.
