Hi, I am running Win 8.1 on a laptop. Previously I had 2 browsers installed - Mozilla Firefox & Google Chrome - each with an icon sitting in the taskbar. Then I found that clicking on the Google Chrome icon did not bring it up and now the icon has also vanished. Fimrefox is still working. Just before I lost the Google Chrome I lost my internet connection due to the phoneline lead coming loose in my router. I pushed it in and then found I'd lost Chrome. How do I get it back? Thank you for your replies. However, on removing the labels from the cartridges I find that the tops of them are different from any other cartridges I am familiar with or have seen pictures of. Also my refill kit does not contain instructions for them. While I might risk drilling a hole in the centre of the top of the black cartridge and refilling it, I would not care to guess where the holes should go in the colour cartridge or what colour ink should go in which hole. I could not find relevant instructions in the website referred to. Can anyone please help with precise instructions for refilling Canon FINE Carts. 545 &546. Peter1929.

Hi, My old printer went wrong so I have purchased a Canon Pixma MG2450 as replacement. On my old printer I refilled the ink carts. without difficulty. However, on examining those on my new printer I cannot see how to do this. They are Canon FINE 545 (black) and 546 (coliour). Can anyone please help? Best wishes, Peter1929

Hi, I have a Kindle HD 8.9. Sometimes when I switch on it connects to my PlusNet router and works satisfactorily. However, at other times (and this is becoming more frequent) the screen is "taken over" by a screen inviting me to connect to BT Openzone which of course (not having a password) I cannot do. I can usually handle this by tapping "Wireless" and re-selecting my PlusNet connection. However, quite often after doing this the Kindle still does not work and in fact today it became quite unusable. Obviously, this is a very unsatisfactory situation. Also other odd things are happening such as a website going off while I am in the middle of looking at it or changing a page, and being told a website is unavailable and finding it available when I again search for it I suspect that these occurrences may be caused .by whatever is doing the hijacking which I believe may be a BTOpenzone router that has been installed nearby. Do you have any suggestions for a solution to this situation? Best wishes, PETER .

On my Kindle fire HD the search engine has changed from Google to Bing without my doing anything to cause this. Can someone please tell me how/why this has happened and how I can get back to having Google as my search engine? Best wishes, PeterD

Hi, My Kindlefire HD will not connect to the internet. I keep getting "Authentication Failed" even after entering the correct password. I thought this might be a signal strength problem so brought it upstairs to be within a yard of my router but got the same result. Can someone please help me out? Best wishes, Peter.

Hi, I have recently bought a Kindle Fire HD 8.9". I am having trouble with the BBC Iplayer. The problem is that when I tap it I am informed that there is no wireless connection but this is not correct as i can surf the net without trouble and when I check the connection I am told that is OK. It may be relevant to say that recently the Iplayer did work. Peter1929
