I think I am going to keep it on puppy Linux but I have one question will an Internet to USB adapter work on puppy Linux ?

well nothing worked i guess i should keep it on puppy linux because i dont have an HDD enclosure to do it

i know but is there no app or tool in puppy linux that can format a HDD because windows is not working and i need to format the HDD to re install windows

i messed up my laptop and windows is not booting and it is not installing installed puppy linux on it and it is working alright but i need to format my HDD so i can re install windows Any knowledge how to do it ?

By the way i can get to the BIOS of the laptop if that helps

Thanks I am going to try it but if it didn't work I've got puppy Linux on it is there a way I can format it from puppy Linux because I don't have another pc I just got another laptop and I can't put that hdd in a laptop Thanks

i get the Packard Bell logo and then it asks me to press a key to boot from disc i tried that and i get the black screen and then i just kept it without booting from disc and same thing happened and then i tried to take the disc out and the same black screen pops up Puppy linux was alright but the wifi was not working so i want to go back to windows xp

O By The Way there is some reset button under the laptop shall i try that ?

1.It was on windows XP home edition 2. It was a windows XP cd home edition the cd 3. first time i did the setup and everything and it was setting up windows but then in the installation it told me to reboot your laptop so i did it and then it stayed like this 4. it was working and it had loads of apps and files on it and it was slow so that's why i re installed it

Please help i installed windows XP on an old laptop i bought of my mate it used to have windows XP on it. But i re installed it because it was dead slow. I want help because i need this laptop. Please help me i installed puppy Linux on it and it was working alright. Please i need some help i am still new at this laptop and pc stuff.
