Hi Again The PC is a Packard Bell IMedia S1800, with Windows 7 Home Premium I have checked the device manager and there are no coloured marks there, everything looks normal to me, but I am not an expert. I did look in here yesterday just in case I had picked up an infection somewhere along the line but there is nothing obvious anywhere.

Over the last two days a problem has occured but I do not understand what has happened. When I start my windows 7 pc I get a message telling me "Cannot find Multi Media device or sound card" Can anyone please help me with this Ken
