  1. Right, I have a reply. As you both surmised, it has a Raid1 configuration which means that although there are two 1000GB Hard drives the capacity is only 1000GB. This I realized, but could not find a way to view that capacity status. Anyway, it is Computer> Rt. Cl on the second Drive (Drive Raid Vol 1)> Properties and the "Pie" chart appears. I really do appreciate you input. Thanks!
  2. I have left a message with them. I'll let you know the outcome. As you say, they should know the answers:rolleyes:
  3. Thanks KenB, I'll follow up your advice.
  4. Thanks Armageddon for taking the time.

  6. Sorry, operating Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit
  7. Thanks for your welcome KenB. I don't know how to do a screen shot. Sorry. Against Disk 0 it records: System Reserved 350MB NTFS Healthy System Active. then C: 111.45 GB NTFS Healthy (Boost, Page File, Crash Dump Primary Partition
  8. Hello, I have, very recently, taken delivery of a new Desk Top computer. I have two 1000GB Hard Disks installed. They work in tandem in case one fails. However, when I go into "My Computer" to check on the capacity left |I'm amazed at the reading. It says that Local Disk C has only 111GB free. There is also an icon which says "New Volume (1) 931 GB free. I cannot make a head or tail out of this! I would appreciate elucidation. Thanks!
