I have an Inspiron 15R N5010 with i5 processor. Can someone tell me whether the motherboard (with non-integrated graphics) advertised in the following link is going to work for my laptop? http://www.aliexpress.com/store/product/For-DELL-INSPIRON-N5010-LAPTOP-MOTHERBOARD-P-N-VX53T-0VX53T-100-Tested-and-guaranteed-in-good/508231_483643171.html I know that the board itself can be faulty or fake or anything. But my question is whether that's the correct type of motherboard for my laptop or not. Earlier I tried this one http://www.aliexpress.com/store/product/For-DELL-Inspiron-15R-N5010-Motherboard-Y6Y56-0Y6Y56-100-Tested-and-guaranteed-in-good-working-condition/508231_483647340.html and it didn't work. The difference is only in terms of the graphics specification. Someone please advise.

I have a movie file with German dialogues & an audio file(with extension .dts) with the English dialogues. I can play the dts file with any player(but I can't see the video). So can someone please tell me what's the proper way to use the dts file?I have a tricky way to play both of them using different players & to mute the video...But there must be a better way out.

Well. I tried Firefox & it worked(albeit much slower than the usual speed). But I am yet to try other options. Thank you very much . -
Browser Not Connecting
swagatopablo replied to swagatopablo's topic in Tech Support & Discussions Forum
I had kept my entire system switched off for more than 12 hours and then tried it. But it is all the same. Should I repair or change my motherboard or modem? -
I have a broadband internet connection with BSNL(Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited) with an ADSL modem(connected to my LAN port.). The connection was working fine till recently when suddenly my browsers stopped connecting to websites. The system tray icon shows connected status and all other software suites(which work with online data) like AIM desktop client or windows updater are working just fine. But unfortunately none of the browsers(I tried with Flock, Safari & Internet Explorer) are being able to connect to net. I have disabled my my firewall and Antivirus hoping to isolate the problem. But it is all the same. I cannot understand whether the problem is with my ISP or my machine. My configuration is Intel Core 2 Duo Processor Intel D946 Motherboard Zion DDR2 1 GB RAM LG 40 GB HDD Windows XP Professional

Hell with SSVICHOSST.exe
swagatopablo replied to swagatopablo's topic in Tech Support & Discussions Forum
Presently I have Avast Anti virus, Comodo firewall pro & Super antispyware free edition installed. Is that sufficient or can I get anything better for free? Please advise. -
Once I installed real player free version 11.0.5 on my PC. but that is no longer necessary for me since I switched to i-tune and gom player recently. But unfortunately, I cannot uninstall it from my PC and it is occupying a lot of memory space(since I have only 40GB HDD, it is a matter of serious concern to me.) I cannot find any uninstaller in the real folder and worst of all these, I cannot even find the name of real player in control panel->add or remove programs. Please help me out. My OS is Windows XP Professional.

Hell with SSVICHOSST.exe

My problem is exactly as posted in the thread(or as pasted, I must admit.) I have followed the advice of help4me word by word. The softwares detected some malwares inside my PC and removed them. But the message of ssivchosst.exe simply refuses to go. Also I have tried updating but internet explorer encountered an error while updating and stopped it. Please help. -
Hell with SSVICHOSST.exe

Thank you for your advice. Off Course they are not similar, but same! I found the post in an website(the name of which I cannot remember now). I could not understand the answer. So I simply pasted the question here. Is that anything I should not do? Moreover I must admit that our administrator has got a striking memory who can recall a post at another website posted nearly 2 years ago. -
Hell with SSVICHOSST.exe

Thank you very much for your advice. But please note that the link to download superantispyware in step 3 does not work and gives a page loading error. So I have not gone through the 1st two steps. Moreover, note that I do not use Firefox, nor Opera but only flock browser available at Flock Browser - The Social Web Browser How should I modify the steps on account of these? -
Hi, On every system start up I'm shown following message; " Windows cannot find 'SSVICHOSST.exe'. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again. To search for a file, click the Start button, and then click Search." I simply cannot understand the reason & purpose of this error message. I even cannot recall asking windows to find for me this file. Again this message appears sometimes even in the middle of any work, and whenever I click on OK button, all my start up & running application closes. Is it a virus? I scan my system regularly with updated anti virus & malware protection tools, but they do not give any alarm regarding this. Could someone through light on this and suggest remedial action(s)? I'm using Windows XP-Pro sp 2.0.

Cannot Hide Folders
swagatopablo replied to swagatopablo's topic in Tech Support & Discussions Forum
I am the creator of the folder. I am also giving a screen shot of the properties window, where you can see for yourself the location, name & size of the folder. As for the contents, it is nothing special- a lot of e-books in pdf or djvu format and some word documents. I want to hide it because I have its shortcut in my documents and do not want clutter my view of E drive. I am also giving a screen shot of the immediate lower level for your convenience. As for Goku's post his Read-Only button seems to have been deactivated. Precisely this is the case for my Hidden button. -
I am using Windows XP Professional service pack 2. My question is does windows XP has any restriction on hidden folder size? For example I have a personal folder at E:/ whose size is quite large(nearly 3.8GB). Whenever I try to hide this folder, the hidden option appears blurred so that I cannot check the box. I have noticed the same thing with many folders of above 1GB. Please help me on whether it is possible to hide those folders?

Error Message With Flash Drive
swagatopablo replied to swagatopablo's topic in Tech Support & Discussions Forum
But this problem is Machine specific. I have tested various flash drives on my machines and got the error message. But they functioned properly in others. Note that in my machine too, they function well save from the error message.
