  1. Sorry I'm not very good at this. I have downloaded the driver to a memory stick and plugged it into the Vista PC but I can't find how to load it. Help please! Steve
  2. Perhaps I'm being a bit thick here but how do I download the new driver when I can't connect? Can I download it to the laptop and then copy it across in some way? Steve
  3. Hi Ken Two items are listed D-Link AirPlus G DWL-G510 Wireless PCI Adapter SiS191 Ethernet Controller No red or yellow marks. Both say they are working correctly - although I do know the Ethernet Controller doesn't! Steve
  4. Ah - now that gives me another problem as I know the wired connection on the PC stopped working some time ago.
  5. Hi Ken Thanks for your swift reply. Rebooting the modem doesn't cure the problem. The laptop and smartphone can use it but as soon as I try to access the internet with the Vista PC it crashes again. Until I try to access the internet everything looks alright - the icon in the bottom right corner says that I am connected and it is available. I have checked the settings and it is set to automatically obtain the addresses. Steve
  6. When I switch on my desktop PC running Vista it shows that wi-fi internet access is available but when I try to connect the modem crashes (internet light goes out) and I have to reboot the modem. My other devices (laptop and smartphone) work ok. Does anyone have any ideas as to what is causing this please. It started two days ago. Before that it worked ok. I have tried a System Restore but it has not cured the problem. Thanks Steve
