Running Widows 7. Have 3 User Profiles. The one in my name has disappeared. I get an error message The User Profile, failed the login. User profile cannot be loaded.
I am using my wife's profile currently. I have attempted to run free scans from the Internet, but am being asked for an administrators password, which has never happened before. I have downloaded before onto my Hard Drive, from the Internet, and never had a problem. My web browser does ask me if I wish to continue the download, which I accept. But I have never been asked for an administrators password. I am pretty sure that I have something on my computer. I have run Microsoft Security Essentials, which did pick up 6 Trojans, which have now been got rid off. But the problem still exists.
Driving me nuts. Any help out there.
