thanks for your reply, it is a POP email account and Ive gone through the set up process in outlook without success. I may have to purchase an improved service. I'll talk to my domain email provider tomorrow br mark

Hi all, im setting up a small home based business and currently use Sky for my broadband. Ive registered a domain with names.co.uk and they have provided me with an email address etc. ive bought outlook 2013 but regardless of the ports and set-ups I choose I cannot send outgoing mail. Ive spoken with Sky and they are fairly useless but do say that Sky broadband doesnt allow third parties to send over their broadband. Can anyone suggest a solution to this at all? I have basic IT skills so Im stumped at present. If i need to change broadband providers then fine but it would be good to know if anyone else uses a 'work' email address on their sky broadband service. Hope to hear from someone soon. Thanks Mark
