  1. Thanks for your advice. I ran the first two steps both of which produced results. Howevedr the eset.com download produces a zip file which when unzipping says is corrupt. I have tried this download twice with the same results and ni improvement so far on logging on to the net
  2. Hi, New to this so hope I don't sound stupid. I am having problems with logging on to my tiscali connection homepage. The icon says I am connected, but when I try to log on the info box at the bottom of the screen shows up to 4 green boxes and then seems to go on go slow. It does evenyually connect, but trying the next entry through the net produces the same result. I have had 2 anti virus programs loaded (Spyware Doctor and Mcafee which comes as part of the Dell package) and have read somewhere that this is not advisable. I tried to disable Spyware Doctor but received an error message of STOP:d0000144 Unknown Hard Error Beginning dump of physical memory with several other messages which I have a note of. I have also received several error messages saying cannot read physical memory (I think) with a code on the message. It appears that Spyware Doctor has been disabled as I have no icon for it. I then ran McAfee scan with no errors, but still have the same problems getting onto the net. The rest of the system seems to be running normally whether using Windows applications or running games etc. Compuet is a Dell Dimension 5150 running Windows XP.
