I've configured my phone so it receives my emails as well as my PC. I can understand that if I delete an email then it deletes it from all devices (I use Outlook.com) which is what I want so am fine with this. My phone however, after a while, simply removes them from my inbox even thought they've not been deleted and still show on say my PC. Its not a massive issue but is there a reason for this please? It just seems odd.

Entering 192.168.1.1 brings up many hits and despite looking at a few of these I can't find where I need to put any type of password unfortunately - grateful for further advice please?

Nev, I've had chance to check the advice you provided - I am sorted, thank you. A further question (perhaps it might be more appropriate to a separate thread however) - I use Dropbox. If downloading something to Dropbox, do you need internet connection to then access things in Dropbox please?

Thanks All Ken - yes, when I first logged on to WiFi I had to give my computer the password. I've update the operating system and it advised I would need to re-enter the password when the new system was installed but I didn't actually need to do this so wondered how it 'connected itself'. If it hadn't indocated it would need the password I wouldn't have even thought about it,

I play a lot of sport and use YouTube video clips for reference to technique and to help explain things. When I'm in most sports halls etc I cannot get an internet signal. Is there a way I can save YouTube clips to my smartphone (iPhone 4s) so I can play them back without need for an internet connection please? Thanks

Hi, Please can someone advise how I check my WiFi is secure when using my PC please? What prompted me to ask this was that when at a friends house my smartphone picked up several WiFi signals (some locked, some not) from the neighbours. thanks

Notification Centre offers the opportunity to amend the alert style for individual apps etc , from None, Banners or Alerts - what are each of these please/ what's the implication or relative merits of each? im looking to save battery so adjusting notifications can help but I don't want to inadvertently switch off email notification for example. Advice aporeciated, thank you

Hi, I've a few video clips I need to play through OneDrive and a few months ago I could do this. The clips are still there as they play but with sound only (no picture). Any ideas how I can get the picture back please? Nothing has changed on my Widows 7 PC in any way - apart from no picture on the clip:( Thank you

Sorry for delay in replying - away with work! thanks for the advice guys, I'll read through the info shortly. I'd like to use Outlook as my email client as simply it's very common where I work so using it at home gives me some continuity.

I use Outlook as my email client and have an @outlook.com address but would like to set up a second @outlook.com address -- can someone advise in baby steps how I do this please? (eg, how do I know whether or not to use POP or IMAP, when or where doe I generate a password for this second address) thanks you
