  3. I tried the above exactly as you suggeested. No change. I have alsso tried uninstalling the driver in PS/2 proppertties. It promptss mee to restart to completee uuuniinstall. At restart it is still there. i am at my wits end.

  5. Hi, I was not sure which category to post unnder. No, the keyboard does not work in safe mode either. It does however worrk when I presss the f8 key, return etc to actiivate the safe mode. The on screen keyboard always pops up when I enter safe mode or the desktop normal. It is llike once I enter the keyboard is deactivated. Most frustrating.
  6. Hi, I have today replaced the faulty keyboard on my Samsunng R530 laptop. I am very coonfident it has been installled correctly. It works fiine at the inniitial login sscreen. I can type my password using the keyboard withhout aany problem at aall. Howeverr, oncce I enter the maain dessktop and attemp tto type uusing the keyboard no characters appear (be itt a search field, word doc, google etc). It is as thoughh the keyboard has beeen disabled at the desktop. Like I ssay it wwoorkss fine at the loggin sstage. Any thoughts or aadvicce?
