Hi folks, just bought a brand new 17inch Dell Inspiron 3000 laptop, (it's a whopper! :)) we are quite happy with it, but we have one or two small problems which we hope can be sorted out on this forum. It comes with a Antivirus thing .. which they are asking us to pay for, so can anybody here recommend a Free Antivirus programme for us? Also we seem to have no 'copy and paste' … ? we used to click on a box in top right hand corner and a list would come down, including copy and past, our last laptop we had Chrome... not sure what we got now, apart from it's windows 10.

The problem is its 4 CDs rolled into one...like a big long track of about 4 hours! (I would like to use the shuffle button, lol) I got it on audacity but I dont have a clue how to use it :( (I am someone who still plays LPs and Video tapes...computers beat me everytime, lol

Not sure if this is the right place for this, or indeed, if it should be here at all, lol Anyways......I know you can record onto a USB stick, but can you record FROM a Usb stick to a CD recorder? I think its a no no, but would be great if I could. :)

I wanted to do a slideshow. Sadly they don't do that anymore :(

Hi folks, its been a while! Looking for something that I can use to convert films in MOV to DIVX. Is this possible to do without paying. I have tried 'Wondershare' but theres no way I am sharing my money, lol Any help appreciated. Zippy

We have been using 'Chrome' for a while and it seems a lot better. Not perfect, but its ok. Should we be getting rid of the internet explorer? Thanks for help so far, Zippy

Hi, Done what you said, installed Bitdefender free, still hasn't made a difference so I re-read all your instructions, searched for int exp 11 and found it! un-installed and re-installed from your link, it started but a box came up to say it was not finished, but had installed internet explorer trouble shooting on desktop, but I can't seem to do anything with it.... I can't get to emails as it says browser out of date.... so I'll keep checking back on here for your reply.....many thanks

Hi, removed AVG and installed Bitedefender, at first, we couldn't believe how fast it was, but only after a couple of days it's slowed again, maybe not as slow as before, it seems when we do repetitive things, ebay or going through emails etc., is what slows it the most... thanks for all your help so far
