  1. Dead SSD ? I've checked with a PC shop today and the guy kinda confirmed the SSD is dead,as he plugged it into his laptop via some cables and Windows couldn't recognize it. I'll try to find some other solutions but it looks like I need to prepare the SSD for RMA and warranty, sadly.
  2. So I just switched on my computer like usually and found that my PC goes straight into BIOS. I noticed that the SSD is missing from the boot list, thus Windows not loading. I've been using this PC for 1 year since built, so far no issues of this nature. First thing I did was checking the connection on the ports/SSD. I switched the sata ports with places and with the first boot it worked(keep in mind that this was without my GPU installed on the motherboard). I switched off the PC,installed the GPU back and when powering the PC it took me to the BIOS screen again, with the SSD missing. I then removed the GPU again and repeated the first solution nothing changed,SSD still missing. Not sure if this has anything to do with graphics card/drivers,but I did upgrade my AMD drivers a few days ago, maybe a bad hotfix. PC Specs : -Intel Core i7-6700 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor -Cooler Master Hyper TX3 Evo 43.1 CFM CPU Cooler -Asus Z170-A Pro Gaming ATX LGA1151 Motherboard -Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-2666 Memory -Samsung 850 EVO-Series 250GB 2.5" Solid State Drive -Seagate Barracuda 2TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive -MSI Radeon R9 390 8GB Video Card -Samsung SH-224DB/BEBE DVD/CD Writer -Corsair RM650 I've tried lots of solutions but none of them worked so far. Here's a list with what I've tried by now : - AHCI enabled - Disabled Fast boot - Enabled Hot spot for all sata ports - CSM enabled - Tried both UEFI and Legacy booting order - Checked the sata/power cables, swaped them with HDD and CD-rom,same cables didn't work with SSD - Inter rapid storage technology OFF (basically AHCI enabled) - Updated BIOS to lastest version - Agressive LMP support enabled - Tried reverting to default motherboard settings - SMART self test enabled I've managed to plug the SSD to another PC and it wasn't showing either, but strangely something was appearing in the Device Manager, under Disk tab, alongside the other connected disk drives, called ''Disk Drive'', with no other disk information/serial number etc. As soon as I was plugging or un-plugging the SSD, the so called ''Disk drive'' would appear/disappear. This might mean that the SSD isn't actually dead. I've also tried installing a new firmware through the Samsung Magic software, but it wasn't detecting the SSD either. Pretty much it. I will continue surfing around forums. Any help is highly appreciated. Many thanks in advance.
