OS - Operating system e.g. Windows 7, windows vista, windows 8, windows 8,1, windows 10. You can check this when you go to My Computer right click, Properties and on the window opened you can see that information.

What os you use, did you aply any updates, installed something new ?!

Usually OLD PC's / laptop's do not support 1 Gb of ram if they are mde before 2000. Second., If you want to ''validate'' the install, try Hierens Boot CD. But mostly if you search in russian or bulgarian forums etc you will find an old copy of Win 98 with CD Key.... Microsoft will not help you.... If the SUPPORT is discontinued it .. menas it is discontinued and that is all. Same is for Xp, W2000 Vista and soon for W7. So no help from Microsoft. I have may be 3-4 CD's with Win 98 with CD Keys on them If I have time I may upload them somewhere and share with you :)
