I bought my 30m ethernet cable for my 360 from amazon from a company called 1001cables for around £12 altogether including p+p, very good value ;)

Little or no connectivity Hey me again, after yesterdays problems still havent sorted themselves out i was wondering if anyone could help me this time. When i plug my ethernet cable into my pc and xbox 360 it comes up with little or no connectivity on my pc. I have tried to repair it but it fails, any advice? My xbox 360 has run perfectly up till now :)

Also i just changed my LAN settings to automatically detect settings. Should i have a ticked the box underneath it aswel?

I plu my modem into the phonline and my xbox goes into the back of the processer into the ethernet port. It has worked for ages but now it doesnt.

I have no idea, i didnt change anything. Should i get my dad to phone up my provider?

Ooops yes it is. Do you think it is a problem with my provider and it may only be a temporary thing? Or can i update my i.p some other way?

My power switch broke and it short circuited the motherboard or something like that. I got it back everything works great i can coonect to the internet normally but as soon as i plug in my ethernet cable it comes up with that message.

I have just got my pc back after about a week because it was being repaird. I tried to go on my xbox today iand i recieved a message on my pc saying "this connection has limited or no connectivity" i have tried reparied it like it says to but the problem is still here. This has never happened before even after about 6months of xbox use. Any help would be appreciated :)

Its downloading now, what if it mucks up my whole pc and i cant come back online?

Im doing ps of everything, i ran the code thing and it comes up with the black screen with text on it but goes away really quickly.

Yep it is set to automatic.

I have done and it says it cannot renew my ip address.

Nope that didnt work it still wont connect :(
