  1. Just found a thread on another site which states that the drive must be set to MDMA2 to successfully record to DVD +/-R media. Any idea what this means? LinuxQuestions.org HCL - HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GSA-4120B
  2. I have tried right clicking on the drive when the DVD is in, but unfortunately format is not an option. Also, the drive says DVD+ rewritable on the front, so I assume that this is an option. Any other ideas????
  3. I see where you are coming from, but it just frustrates me that I can't get it to work. Spent hours yesterday trying to work it out and I am starting to loose patience
  4. Nope - just good old XP pro
  5. Thanks Kelly I know this may sound stupid, but how do I go about formatting the disk?
  6. Can anyone help, I am loosing the will to live....... I have an LG DVD+Rewritable CD ROM drive that has worked fine for reading CD's and and CD ROM's for ages. I have just purchased some DVD +RW disks to back up some digital photos, however when I try and copy and paste the images across I get an error to say that there was a problem with the coping process. Do the disks need formatting before I can write to them? When I go into the properties screen when the disk is in the file system is described as 'RAW'. Any advice??
