    I have said i would ask you guys for help for someone else who cannot get onto this ite themselves.The problem they are having is and i quote. " i really cant open any websites on the net apart from here google, yahoo, facebook youtube... nothing with open just says Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage any ideas ?     Thanks for that Goku,Wolfy and Tootech, but as an example, how do mods on a site like this know when a post is from the same person? ie a banned member...i'm only asking this as i'm on another forum and i'm getting a few undesirable remarks and i think there should be a way to find out where this is coming from..Fair play to the site owner they are doing ALL they can to stop this. Thanks again for your help and advice...:D:D:D

    Can somebody please explain to me what an IP address actually is? i have a piczo site and i have noticed it shows me as having 2 different IP addresses, but i am using the same computer.How do you know somebody's actual IP address?Many thanks, i know i can rely on you..:D

    Hi Wolfey, just to thankyou for all your help and advice.I have'nt tried the above yet but i will once my daughter has sorted her pc out lol. we will probably try it tomorow ( i'm still getting over yesterday) i'm not as patient as ony.

    hi again wolfey the problem when i was signing into messenger seems to have gone, but when i'm trying to contact someone via email on a website i'm getting the same error message.i have tried to update with critical updates but get these 2 failed error messages.these are the only 2 updates they say my pc needs but they fail to update. these are the 2 messages i get Windows XPSecurity Update for Microsoft .NET Framework, Version 2.0 (KB928365)http://www.update.microsoft.com/microsoftupdate/v6/shared/images/status_failed.gif03 May 2008 Windows XPSecurity Update for Windows XP (KB944338)

    i use hotmail wolfey as my default. the problem happens when i first try and sign in to messenger, or if i click on a email address ie. in an advert.

    i'm running xp home. the problem i'm having is, i keep getting a message come up saying" could not perform this operation because the default mail client is not properly installed. any help would be much appreciated. many thanks janice
