I will have to get back with you. I am not at home right now.

I have Windows XP. Everytime I log onto the internet, I get the error message, Windows has encountered a problem and needs to shut down. If I click ok, it shuts down. I have started just moving the message so I can get online. Can anyone tell me how to fix this?

Oh, and another question. If I uninstall Itunes, will I lose my music?

About the Ipod. I tried everything - the hard reset, etc. and nothing worked. I just unplugged it and the battery died since the light was on and it was stuck on a song. This a.m. I plugged it back in and the apple screen came up & it seems to be working! I have it plugged in to charge it. I brought it to work with me and plugged it in. Unfortunately, I forgot that I don't have Itunes downloaded (we can't download anything on our compters here) and now how am I going to eject it??? Will it hurt to unplug if it is not ejected? Ok, secondly I do actually have one of the messages I got. It says this: C:Documents & Settings\Yowell\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5\ULBXIT5C\itunesSetup[1].exe is not a valid Win32 application. Also, last night at 8:00, the computer did a scheduled scan. I got up this a.m. and it is still scanning!! Doesn't seem right. Any help is appreciated. Lisa

I've had a terrible time lately! Yesterday my Ipod Nano froze up. It is just stuck with the light on and a song highlighted. But that's another issue. I was trying to fix it and read a suggestion to update the latest version of Itunes. I have dial up cause we live in the country and nothing else is available yet. So, it takes forever (hours) to download anything. It finally finished and I get an error message. Blah, blah is not a valid Win32 application. I try again and get another error message. It's enough to make you tear your hair out! :mad: Any ideas out there? This forum is great! I'm not real computer savy & I know it will be a lot of help.
