Mendo

...hello I really hope someone can help, my other half managed to pickup a virus the other week, which has been removed (along with a whole load of spyware nonsense). But since then she hasn't been able to get on the internet. Her broadband connection will connect, but if she tries to open a webpage she gets a DNS error. I'm sure (as sure as a computer idiot can be) this is a really simple problem but it's driving me (and more importantly her) absolutely mad. She uses Windows XP and Firefox and also IE, to no avail. Does somebody have the solution to this problem...? If you need any further information I can provide it. Many thanks in advance if you can help. Mendo :)

Hello folks Just signed up because I am a complete idiot when it comes to computers, that, and my other half has a tendency to click on things she should know better than to click on, resulting in various problems as I'm sure you can imagine!! Hope you good people can help. Mendo :)
