I have recently encountered a problem on a windows 10 laptop, trying to load a particular webpage (My bank log in). Up until several days ago this worked okay and I had no problems. The page now only partly loads. The header and footer load, but the body is missing the lower part of the form. None of the controls on the form respond to inputs. When clicking the padlock, the webpage appears to have all the correct certificates etc. I wish to find out if there is a problem with my laptop, (the page loads okay on an Android mobile, but not in Edge or Chrome), or if the fault lies at the page design level. I think that the page layout has recently been changed. I have made sure my computer is up to date on the latest Windows 10 and the browsers are up to date. I've run malware scans, anti-virus scans, pc analysis software (IOLO System Mechanic) and Windows diagnostics. They all show a healthy system.
I had a peek at the webpage code inspect facility. It lists two errors. 1: Uncaught syntax error, unexpected identifier, app.master.head.js:7. 2: uncaught syntax error, modernizr is not defined, app.master.body js?. It may be that I have a missing or corrupt Javascript file, but not being too familiar with HTML or Java, am not sure what to do!
